We used to menstruate during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and when we became pure, he would order us to make up the fasts but would not order us to make up the prayers.
حدثنا علي بن حجر أخبرنا علي بن مسهر عن عبيدة عن إبراهيم عن الأسود
كنا نحيض على عهد رسول الله ﷺ ثم نطهر فيأمرنا بقضاء الصيام ولا يأمرنا بقضاء الصلاة
Hasan. Ibn Majah also narrated it in the Book of Fasting, the chapter on what has been said about making up for missed days of Ramadan, hadith no. 1670, from the hadith of Ubayda bin Mutib Dabbi Kufi, with this same wording. Its chain of transmission is daif, but it has very many corroborating narrations. See the previous hadith, no. 130.
