The Prophet ﷺ instructed me to observe three things, that I never sleep without performing the witr prayer, that I fast three days of every month, and that I pray the duha prayer.
حدثنا قتيبة حدثنا أبو عوانة عن سماك بن حرب عن أبي الربيع
عهد إلي النبي ﷺ ثلاثة أن لا أنام إلا على وتر وصوم ثلاثة أيام من كل شهر وأن أصلي الضحى
[Its isnad is hasan li-dhatihi] Ahmad: 2/277, narrated it from the hadith of Simak through the same chain. Abu Rabi Madani is graded hasan al-hadith according to the more correct view, and his hadith has corroborating narrations.
