Takhrij, its isnad is daif. It was narrated by Abu Dawud in the Book of Fasting, in the chapter on one who vomits intentionally while fasting, no. 2380, and by Ibn Majah, no. 1676, from the hadith of Isa bin Yunus with the same wording. Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih, no. 1960 and 1921, as did Ibn Hibban, no. 907, and Hakim, 12/426-427, and Dhahabi, while Bukhari graded it daif, and he is correct.Hisham bin Hassan is a mudallis and he narrated this using ambiguous transmission wording (an), and the hadith has other daif chains as well. Bayhaqi narrated, 4/219, with sahih chains, from Ibn Umar, who said, "Whoever is overcome by vomiting owes no makeup fast, but whoever makes himself vomit must make up the fast."On this subject there are also narrations from Abu Darda [mentioned earlier, 87], Thawban [mentioned earlier, 87], and Fadala bin Ubayd [Ibn Majah, no. 1675].
