We used to travel with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during Ramadan, and neither would the one who fasted be criticized for his fasting, nor would the one who broke his fast be criticized for breaking it.

كنا نسافر مع رسول الله ﷺ في رمضان فما يعيب على الصائم صومه ولا على المفطر إفطاره
Its chain of transmission was also reported by Muslim, in the Book of Fasting, chapter on the permissibility of fasting or not fasting in Ramadan for a traveler not engaged in sin, etc., hadith no. 1116, from Nasr bin Ali, with the same wording.
