The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "People will remain in a state of goodness as long as they hasten to break their fast."
حدثنا محمد بن بشار حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن مهدي عن سفيان عن أبي حازم ح قال و أخبرنا أبو مصعب قراءة عن مالك عن أبي حازم
قال رسول الله ﷺ لا يزال الناس بخير ما عجلوا الفطر
Agreed upon. Bukhari, Fasting, chapter on hastening to break the fast, no. 1957, from the hadith of Malik, and Muslim, Fasting, chapter on the virtue of the pre-dawn meal and emphasizing its recommendation, etc., no. 1098, from the hadith of Abu Hazim, through this same wording.On this subject there are also narrations from Abu Hurairah [coming up: 700], Ibn Abbas [mentioned earlier in the takhrij of hadith 252], Ayesha [coming up: 702], and Anas bin Malik [Hakim in Mustadrak, 1/432].
