The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no charity due from a Muslim on his horse or his slave."
حدثنا أبو كريب محمد بن العلاء ومحمود بن غيلان قالا حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان وشعبة عن عبد الله بن دينار عن سليمان بن يسار عن عراك بن مالك
قال رسول الله ﷺ ليس على المسلم في فرسه ولا في عبده صدقة
Agreed upon by Bukhari and Muslim. Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Zakat, chapter, "There is no zakat due on a Muslim for his horse," hadith no. 1463, from the narration of Shubah, and Muslim narrated it in the Book of Zakat, chapter, "There is no zakat due on a Muslim for his slave or his horse," hadith no. 982, from the narration of Abdullah bin Dinar with the same wording.There is also a narration on this subject from Abdullah bin Amr [Abu Ubayd in Kitab al-Amwal, p. 563, hadith no. 1357], and from Ali [mentioned previously, no. 620].
