The Prophet ﷺ sent me to Yemen and ordered me to take from every thirty cattle a young bull or a young cow, from every forty a mature cow, and from every adult a Dinar or its equivalent in Maafiri cloth.
Its isnad is daif. Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Zakat, chapter on the zakat of grazing livestock, hadith 1576, from the hadith of Amash through this route, and I did not find an explicit statement of his hearing it. Abu Dawud said, Shubah narrated it from Amash through this route (and I did not find it). The hadith has daif corroborating narrations. Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih, hadith 2267, as did Ibn Hibban, hadith 794, and Hakim, 1/398, and Dhahabi and others.
