The Prophet ﷺ said, "When you have paid the zakat on your wealth, you have fulfilled what is required of you."
حدثنا عمر بن حفص الشيباني البصري حدثنا عبد الله بن وهب أخبرنا عمرو بن الحارث عن دراج عن ابن حجيرة
أن النبي ﷺ قال إذا أديت زكاة مالك فقد قضيت ما عليك
[Its chain is hasan] Ibn Majah also narrated it in "Zakat", chapter "Whatever its zakat has been paid is not treasure," hadith no. 1788, from the hadith of Amr bin Harith with the same wording. Darraj's hadith is hasan except when narrating from other than Abu Haytham.Ibn Khuzayma graded the hadith sahih, no. 2471, as did Ibn Hibban, no. 797, and Hakim (1/390), and Dhahabi. Ibn Hibban added, "Whoever amasses unlawful wealth and then gives it in charity will have no reward for it, and its burden will remain upon him."
