Kaab bin Ujra reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, "I seek refuge with Allah for you, Kaab bin Ujra, from rulers who will come after me. Whoever frequents their doors and affirms their lies and assists them in their oppression is not from me, nor am I from him, and he shall not come to me at the Pond. But whoever frequents their doors or does not, yet does not affirm their lies nor assist them in their oppression, he is from me and I am from him, and he shall come to me at the Pond.Kaab bin Ujra, prayer is a proof, fasting is an impenetrable shield, and charity extinguishes sin as water extinguishes fire.Kaab bin Ujra, no flesh that grows from unlawful earnings will thrive, for the Fire is more deserving of it."

عن كعب بن عجرة قال

قال لي رسول الله ﷺ أعيذك بالله يا كعب بن عجرة من أمراء يكونون من بعدي فمن غشي أبوابهم فصدقهم في كذبهم وأعانهم على ظلمهم فليس مني ولست منه ولا يرد علي الحوض ومن غشي أبوابهم أو لم يغش فلم يصدقهم في كذبهم ولم يعنهم على ظلمهم فهو مني وأنا منه وسيرد علي الحوض يا كعب بن عجرة الصلاة برهان والصوم جنة حصينة والصدقة تطفئ الخطيئة كما يطفئ الماء النار يا كعب بن عجرة إنه لا يربو لحم نبت من سحت إلا كانت النار أولى به
