I recited surah an-Najm to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he did not perform a prostration in it.
حدثنا يحيى بن موسى حدثنا وكيع عن ابن أبي ذئب عن يزيد بن عبد الله بن قسيط عن عطاء بن يسار
قرأت على رسول الله ﷺ النجم فلم يسجد فيها
Agreed upon. Bukhari related it in the Book of Sajdahs of Quran, chapter: One Who Recites the Sajdah Verse but Does Not Prostrate, hadith no. 1073, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Dhib, and Muslim related it, hadith no. 577, from the hadith of Yazid bin Qusayt, from Abdullah bin Abdullah.Hadith of Umar, related by Bukhari, hadith no. 1077.
