Citation. [Its chain is hasan]. Abu Dawud narrated it in Purification, chapter on performing wudu twice, hadith no. 136, from the hadith of Zayd bin Hubab through the same route. Ibn Jarud graded it sahih, hadith no. 71, as did Ibn Hibban (al-Ihsan), no. 1091, and Hakim, according to the criterion of Muslim, 1/150, and Dhahabi agreed with him.There is also a hadith on this topic from Jabir [to come, no. 45].The hadith of Hammam was narrated by Ahmad, 2/348.
