They were traveling with the Prophet ﷺ when they came to a narrow passage. The time for prayer arrived, with rain falling on them from above and wetness beneath them. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave the call to prayer while on his mount and then gave the iqamah, or gave the iqamah, then moved forward on his mount and led them in prayer, gesturing with motions, making his prostration lower than his bowing.
حدثنا يحيى بن موسى حدثنا شبابة بن سوار حدثنا عمر بن الرماح البلخي عن كثير بن زياد
أنهم كانوا مع النبي ﷺ في مسير فانتهوا إلى مضيق وحضرت الصلاة فمطروا السماء من فوقهم والبلة من أسفل منهم فأذن رسول الله ﷺ وهو على راحلته وأقام أو أقام فتقدم على راحلته فصلى بهم يومئ إيماء يجعل السجود أخفض من الركوع
[Its isnad is daif] Ahmad narrated it, 4/173, 174, from the hadith of Umar bin Maymun bin Bahr Ibn Saad Balkhi, through the same chain.Amr bin Uthman bin Yaala is obscure, and no one but Ibn Hibban rated him trustworthy, and his father is unknown.
