We were with the Prophet ﷺ when a man came, whom I believe was from Qays, and said, "Messenger of Allah, curse Himyar."The Prophet ﷺ turned away from him. The man then approached him from the other side, but he turned away again. He came from the other side once more, and again the Prophet turned away. He came yet again from the other side, and the Prophet turned away from him.Then the Prophet ﷺ said, "May Allah have mercy on Himyar. Their mouths utter peace, their hands offer food, and they are people of security and faith."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن زنجويه بغدادي حدثنا عبد الرزاق أخبرني أبي عن ميناء مولى عبد الرحمن بن عوف قال سمعت
كنا عند النبي ﷺ فجاء رجل أحسبه من قيس فقال يا رسول الله العن حميرا فأعرض عنه ثم جاءه من الشق الآخر فأعرض عنه ثم جاءه من الشق الآخر فأعرض عنه ثم جاءه من الشق الآخر فأعرض عنه فقال النبي ﷺ رحم الله حميرا أفواههم سلام وأيديهم طعام وهم أهل أمن وإيمان
[Its chain of transmission is extremely daif]. Ahmad also narrated it, 2/278, from Abdul-Razzaq, through the same chain.Meenaa is discarded as a narrator, accused of Rafd (Shia extremism), and Abu Hatim declared him a liar (Taqrib).
