Ayesha reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Ayesha, this is Jibreel, and he is sending you greetings of peace."She said, "I replied, '
and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. You see what we do not see.'"

Agreed upon [by Bukhari and Muslim]. Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Seeking Permission, Chapter on Men Greeting Women and Women Greeting Men, hadith no. 6249, from the hadith of Ibn Mubarak, and Muslim, hadith no. 2447, from the hadith of Zuhri, with the same content.
