Ali bin Abu Talib reported,
I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "The best of its women is Khadijah bint Khuwaylid, and the best of its women is Maryam bint Imran."

علي بن أبي طالب يقول
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول خير نسائها خديجة بنت خويلد وخير نسائها مريم ابنة عمران
Reported by agreement, and Bukhari included it in the Merits of the Ansar, chapter on the marriage of the Prophet ﷺ to Khadijah and her merit, may Allah Almighty be pleased with her, hadith no. 3815, and Muslim, hadith no. 2430, from the hadith of Abdah bin Sulayman, with the same wording.This subject is also addressed on the authority of Anas [to come: 3878], Ibn Abbas [Nasai in al-Kubra: 8355, and Ahmad: 293/1, 316, 322], and Ayesha [previously mentioned: 2017, 3875].
