Abu Musa Ashari reported,
The Prophet ﷺ said, "Abu Musa, you have been given one of the flutes of the family of Dawud."

Agreed upon [by Bukhari and Muslim]. Bukhari reported it in "Merits of the Quran," chapter on beautifying the voice in reciting the Quran, no. 5048, through the narration of Hamani, and Muslim, no. 793, through the narration of Abu Burda with this wording.This subject is also reported from Burayda [Muslim, no. 793], Abu Hurairah [Ibn Majah, no. 1341], and Anas [Ibn Saad, 2:344, 345].
