Abu Hurairah reported,

Abu Hurayrah, you were the most constant of us in keeping company with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and the most retentive of us regarding his hadith.

حدثنا أحمد بن منيع حدثنا هشيم أخبرنا يعلى بن عطاء عن الوليد بن عبد الرحمن عن ابن عمر أنه

قال لأبي هريرة

يا أبا هريرة أنت كنت ألزمنا لرسول الله ﷺ وأحفظنا لحديثه
