Usama bin Zayd reported,

When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ grew gravely ill, I came down to Medina along with the people. I entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he had fallen silent and could not speak. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ began placing his hands on me and lifting them, and I understood that he was praying for me.
