Abu Hurairah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Abbas is the uncle of the Messenger of Allah, and a man's paternal uncle is the counterpart of his father," or, "is from the counterpart of his father."This is a hasan sahih gharib hadith. We do not know it from the narration of Abu Zinad except through this route.
