Uqba bin Amir reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If there were to be a prophet after me, it would be Umar bin Khattab."He said, this is a hasan gharib hadith. We know it only through the narration of Mishrah bin Haan.

Its isnad is hasan. Ahmad narrated it (4/154) from Muqri with the same wording, and Hakim graded it sahih (3/85), and Dhahabi agreed with him.
