Abdullah bin Hantab reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw Abu Bakr and Umar and said, "These two are the hearing and the sight."

Darussalam
[Hasan] Hakim reported it in 3/69 from the hadith of Abdul-Aziz, and Ibn Abu Hatim in al-Ilal, 22/385, hadith no. 2667, from the hadith of Ibn Abu Fudayk with the same wording. Hakim graded it sahih, and Dhahabi said, "Hasan," but its chain is daif. The hadith has corroborating reports with Khatib, 8/459, 460, and elsewhere, and with these it is hasan li-ghayrihi.There is also a report on this subject from Abdullah bin Amr [Ibn Abu Asim in al-Sunnah, hadith no. 1222].
