Abdullah bin Masud reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I disavow every close friendship, and had I been to take anyone as my closest friend, I would have taken Ibn Abu Quhafa as my closest friend. But your companion is the close friend of Allah."

عن عبد الله قال
قال رسول الله ﷺ أبرأ إلى كل خليل من خله ولو كنت متخذا خليلا لاتخذت ابن أبي قحافة خليلا وإن صاحبكم خليل الله
