The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had slender shins, and he never laughed beyond a smile. Whenever I looked at him, I would say his eyes appeared lined with kohl, though they were not.
حدثنا أحمد بن منيع حدثنا عباد بن العوام أخبرنا الحجاج عن سماك بن حرب
كان في ساقي رسول الله ﷺ حموشة وكان لا يضحك إلا تبسما وكنت إذا نظرت إليه قلت أكحل العينين وليس بأكحل
Its chain of transmission is daif. Ahmad narrated it (5/105) from the hadith of Abbad bin Awwam with the same wording, and Hakim graded it sahih (2/606), but Dhahabi said, "Hajjaj bin Artah is weak in hadith." The hadith has corroborating witnesses, apart from the word "reddish tinge."
