You count miraculous signs as punishments, but in the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ we considered them blessings. We used to eat food with the Prophet ﷺ and hear the food glorifying Allah.A vessel was once brought to the Prophet ﷺ, and he placed his hand in it. Water began to gush forth from between his fingers, and the Prophet ﷺ said, "Come to the blessed ablution. The blessing is from the heavens." We all performed ablution from it.

إنكم تعدون الآيات عذابا وإنا كنا نعدها على عهد رسول الله ﷺ بركة لقد كنا نأكل الطعام مع النبي ﷺ ونحن نسمع تسبيح الطعام قال وأتي النبي ﷺ بإناء فوضع يده فيه فجعل الماء ينبع من بين أصابعه فقال النبي ﷺ حي على الوضوء المبارك والبركة من السماء حتى توضأنا كلنا
