Samura bin Jundab reported,
We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, passing around a single bowl from morning until night. Ten would stand up and ten would sit down to eat from it.We asked, "From what was it being replenished?"He replied, "What are you amazed at? It was replenished only from here," and he pointed with his hand toward the sky.

عن سمرة بن جندب قال
كنا مع رسول الله ﷺ نتداول في قصعة من غدوة حتى الليل يقوم عشرة ويقعد عشرة قلنا فما كانت تمد قال من أي شيء تعجب ما كانت تمد إلا من هاهنا وأشار بيده إلى السماء

Nasai narrated it in al-Kubra, no. 6740, from Muhammad bin Bashshar, and Ahmad, 5/18, from Yazid bin Harun, through this route. Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, no. 2149, as did Bayhaqi in Dalail al-Nubuwwah, 6/93, and Hakim, on the standard of the two Shaikhs, 2/618, and Dhahabi agreed with him.
