The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever says three times when evening comes, 'I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created,' no venomous sting will harm him that night."Suhayl said, "Our family learned this and used to recite it every night. A young girl among them was stung, yet she felt no pain from it."
حدثنا يحيى بن موسى أخبرنا يزيد بن هارون أخبرنا هشام بن حسان عن سهيل بن أبي صالح عن أبيه
عن النبي ﷺ قال من قال حين يمسي ثلاث مرات أعوذ بكلمات الله التامات من شر ما خلق لم يضره حمة تلك الليلة قال سهيل فكان أهلنا تعلموها فكانوا يقولونها كل ليلة فلدغت جارية منهم فلم تجد لها وجعا
[Sahih] Nasai also related it in Amal al-Yawm wal-Layla, no. 590, and in Kubra, no. 10426, from the hadith of Yazid bin Harun, by the same chain, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, no. 2360. The hadith has other chains as well, and the hadith of Malik, no. in Muwatta, 2/951, and by his route Nasai related it in Kubra, no. 10425, and Ahmad, 2/375. It has another version in Muslim, no. 2709.
