The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There are three whose prayer does not rise beyond their ears: a runaway slave until he returns, a woman who spends the night while her husband is angry with her, and a man who leads people in prayer while they detest him."
حدثنا محمد بن إسمعيل حدثنا علي بن الحسن حدثنا الحسين بن واقد حدثنا أبو غالب قال سمعت
قال رسول الله ﷺ ثلاثة لا تجاوز صلاتهم آذانهم العبد الآبق حتى يرجع وامرأة باتت وزوجها عليها ساخط وإمام قوم وهم له كارهون
[Its chain of transmission is hasan] Ibn Abu Shayba also narrated it, 4/307, from Ali bin Hasan bin Shaqiq through the same chain, and it is found in Sharh al-Sunnah by Baghawi, 3/404, hadith 838, by way of Tirmidhi through the same chain, and Baghawi graded it hasan.
