He entered with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ upon a woman who had before her date pits, or he said pebbles, with which she was glorifying Allah. He said, "Shall I tell you of something easier for you than this, or better?Say, 'Glory be to Allah, as many times as the number of what He has created in the heavens. Glory be to Allah, as many times as the number of what He has created on the earth. Glory be to Allah, as many times as the number of what is between them. Glory be to Allah, as many times as the number of what He is creating. And Allah is Greatest the same. And praise be to Allah the same. And there is no power and no strength except by Allah the same.'"
[Its chain is hasan]. Abu Dawud narrated it in Witr, chapter on glorifying Allah with pebbles, no. 1500, from the hadith of Ibn Wahb, through the same route. Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, no. 2330, as did Hakim, 1/547–548, and Dhahabi agreed with him. Diya also mentioned it in al-Mukhtarah, 3/209–211, nos. 1010 and 1011.
