The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Hold fast to praying during the night, for it was the practice of the righteous before you. Praying at night brings you closer to Allah, restrains you from sin, wipes away misdeeds, and drives illness from the body."

أن رسول الله ﷺ قال عليكم بقيام الليل فإنه دأب الصالحين قبلكم وإن قيام الليل قربة إلى الله ومنهاة عن الإثم وتكفير للسيئات ومطردة للداء عن الجسد
[Daif] * Muhammad bin Saeed Qurashi, the crucified one, is a well-known liar, so the chain is fabricated. It has a very daif corroborating witness in Bayhaqi (2/502), and a daif corroborating witness in Ibn Adi (4/597) and Ibn Asakir (29/55) and Tabarani (6/258, no. 6154), which contains the addition, "and it drives out disease from the body." This is the hadith of Abu Darda, and its chain is daif and obscure. It has a daif corroborating witness in Ibn Asakir (66/88).
