Abdullah bin Amr bin As reported,

He said to him, "Tell us something you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." So he handed me a sheet and said, "This is what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wrote for me."I looked at it, and there it was written that Abu Bakr al-Siddiq said, "Messenger of Allah, teach me what to say in the morning and in the evening."He replied, "Abu Bakr, say, 'O Allah, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, there is no god but You, Lord of everything and its Master. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my own self, from the evil of Satan and his incitement to associate others with You, and from committing wrong against myself or bringing it upon any Muslim.'"

حدثنا الحسن بن عرفة حدثنا إسمعيل بن عياش عن محمد بن زياد عن أبي راشد الحبراني قال أتيت

عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص فقلت

له حدثنا مما سمعت من رسول الله ﷺ فألقى إلي صحيفة فقال هذا ما كتب لي رسول الله ﷺ قال فنظرت فإذا فيها إن أبا بكر الصديق رضي الله عنه قال يا رسول الله علمني ما أقول إذا أصبحت وإذا أمسيت فقال يا أبا بكر قل اللهم فاطر السموات والأرض عالم الغيب والشهادة لا إله إلا أنت رب كل شيء ومليكه أعوذ بك من شر نفسي ومن شر الشيطان وشركه وأن أقترف على نفسي سوءا أو أجره إلى مسلم
