A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked, "Messenger of Allah, which supplication is best?"He replied, "Ask your Lord for well-being and protection in this world and the next."The man came to him on the second day and asked, "Messenger of Allah, which supplication is best?"He gave him the same answer.Then he came to him on the third day, and he gave him the same answer, saying, "If you are granted well-being in this world and granted it in the hereafter, you have truly succeeded."
حدثنا يوسف بن عيسى حدثنا الفضل بن موسى حدثنا سلمة بن وردان
أن رجلا جاء إلى النبي ﷺ فقال يا رسول الله أي الدعاء أفضل قال سل ربك العافية والمعافاة في الدنيا والآخرة ثم أتاه في اليوم الثاني فقال يا رسول الله أي الدعاء أفضل فقال له مثل ذلك ثم أتاه في اليوم الثالث فقال له مثل ذلك قال فإذا أعطيت العافية في الدنيا وأعطيتها في الآخرة فقد أفلحت
