I came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, teach me a supplication of refuge that I may seek protection through."He took hold of my shoulder and said, "Say, O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, from the evil of my sight, from the evil of my tongue, from the evil of my heart, and from the evil of my semen," meaning his private parts.
[Its chain of transmission is hasan.] Abu Dawud narrated it in Witr, chapter on seeking refuge, no. 1551, and Nasai in 8/255, no. 5446, from the hadith of Saad bin Aws through this route. Hakim graded it sahih in 1/532, 533, and Dhahabi agreed with him.
