The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Two phrases that are light on the tongue, heavy on the scale, and beloved to the Most Merciful: Subhan Allah wa bi-hamdihi, Subhan Allah al-Azeem."
حدثنا يوسف بن عيسى حدثنا محمد بن فضيل عن عمارة بن القعقاع عن أبي زرعة بن عمرو بن جرير
قال رسول الله ﷺ كلمتان خفيفتان على اللسان ثقيلتان في الميزان حبيبتان إلى الرحمن سبحان الله وبحمده سبحان الله العظيم
Agreed upon (by Bukhari and Muslim). Bukhari included it in the Book of Faith and Vows, chapter "If someone says, 'By Allah, I will not speak today,' then he prays or recites the Quran... etc.," hadith no. 6682, and Muslim, hadith no. 2694, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Fudayl bin Ghazwan, with this wording. It is also found in his Book of Supplication, hadith no. 84.
