Whenever people saw the first fruit of the season, they would bring it to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ received it, he would say, "O Allah, bless our fruits for us, bless our city for us, and bless our saa and our mudd for us. O Allah, Ibrahim is Your servant, Your friend, and Your prophet, and I am Your servant and Your prophet. He prayed to You for Mecca, and I pray to You for Medina with the like of what he prayed to You for Mecca, and the like of it along with it."Then he would call the smallest child he could see and give him that fruit.
