We were instructed to glorify Allah thirty-three times after every prayer, to praise Him thirty-three times, and to magnify Him thirty-four times.A man from the Ansar saw a vision in his sleep. Someone said to him, "Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ command you to glorify Allah thirty-three times after every prayer, praise Allah thirty-three times, and magnify Him thirty-four times?"He replied, "Yes."The figure said, "Make it twenty-five each, and include the declaration of Allah's oneness along with them."The next morning, he went to the Prophet ﷺ and told him about it. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do that."

[Hasan] Nasai reported it, 3/76, no. 1351 (Sahw, Chapter: Another type of counting tasbih) from the hadith of Hisham bin Hassan, with this wording, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, no. 2340, and Ibn Khuzayma, 1/370, no. 752.
