A Jew came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Muhammad, Allah holds the heavens on one finger, the earths on one finger, the mountains on one finger, and all creatures on one finger, then He says, 'I am the King.'"The Prophet ﷺ laughed until his molars became visible, then he recited, "They have not appraised Allah with true appraisal" [Zumar 39:67].He said, this is a hasan sahih hadith.
حدثنا محمد بن بشار حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد حدثنا سفيان حدثني منصور وسليمان الأعمش عن إبراهيم عن عبيدة
جاء يهودي إلى النبي ﷺ فقال يا محمد إن الله يمسك السماوات على إصبع والأرضين على إصبع والجبال على إصبع والخلائق على إصبع ثم يقول أنا الملك قال فضحك النبي ﷺ حتى بدت نواجذه قال {وما قدروا الله حق قدره} قال هذا حديث حسن صحيح
Sourcing, agreed upon. Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Tawhid, in the chapter on Allah's statement "for what I created with My own hands" [Sad 38:75], hadith no. 7414, from the hadith of Yahya Qattan. Muslim also narrated it, hadith no. 2786, from the hadith of Mansur, in the same way.
