He said, "I entered the mosque just as the sun set, and the Prophet ﷺ was sitting there."The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Abu Dharr, do you know where this sun goes?"I replied, "Allah and His Messenger know best."He said, "It goes and seeks permission to prostrate, and permission is granted to it. Then it is as though it is told, 'Rise from where you came,' so it rises from its place of setting."Then he recited, "And that is its appointed resting place". He said, "That is how it is read in the recitation of Abdullah."

قال دخلت المسجد حين غابت الشمس والنبي ﷺ جالس فقال النبي ﷺ أتدري يا أبا ذر أين تذهب هذه قال قلت الله ورسوله أعلم قال فإنها تذهب فتستأذن في السجود فيؤذن لها وكأنها قد قيل لها اطلعي من حيث جئت فتطلع من مغربها قال ثم قرأ وذلك مستقر لها قال وذلك في قراءة عبد الله
