The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pass by Fatimah's door for six months whenever he went out for the dawn prayer, saying, "Prayer, people of the house! 'Allah only wishes to remove all impurity from you, people of the house, and to purify you completely.'" [Ahzab 33:33]
حدثنا عبد بن حميد حدثنا عفان بن مسلم حدثنا حماد بن سلمة أخبرنا علي بن زيد
أن رسول الله ﷺ كان يمر بباب فاطمة ستة أشهر إذا خرج إلى صلاة الفجر يقول الصلاة يا أهل البيت {إنما يريد الله ليذهب عنكم الرجس أهل البيت ويطهركم تطهيرا}
[Its chain is daif]. Ahmad also narrated it (3/285) from Affan through the same chain.Ali bin Zayd is well known to be daif.There is also a report on this subject from Abu Humra [Tabari in his Tafsir (6/22) and Abu Naeem in Marifat al-Sahaba (5/2870, no. 6752)], from Maqil bin Yasar [I did not find it], and from Umm Salama [coming up at 3871].
