The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not sell singing slave-girls, do not buy them, and do not teach them. There is no good in trading them, and their price is unlawful. Concerning the like of this was revealed the verse, 'And among the people is he who buys idle talk to mislead others from the way of Allah'" [Luqman 31:6], to the end of the verse.
حدثنا قتيبة حدثنا بكر بن مضر عن عبيد الله بن زحر عن علي بن يزيد عن القاسم بن عبد الرحمن
عن رسول الله ﷺ قال لا تبيعوا القينات ولا تشتروهن ولا تعلموهن ولا خير في تجارة فيهن وثمنهن حرام وفي مثل هذا أنزلت عليه هذه الآية {ومن الناس من يشتري لهو الحديث ليضل عن سبيل الله} إلى آخر الآية
