Ibn Masud, concerning the verse "And there is none of you but shall come to it" [Maryam 19:71], said, "They will come to it, then depart from it according to their deeds."Muhammad bin Bashar narrated to us that Abdul-Rahman bin Mahdi reported from Shuba, from Suddi, the same account.Abdul-Rahman said, "I said to Shuba, 'Israil narrated this to me from Suddi, from Mura, from Abdullah, from the Prophet ﷺ.'"Shuba replied, "I too heard it from Suddi traced back to the Prophet, but I omit that deliberately."
