The Prophet ﷺ said regarding the verse "and beneath it was a treasure belonging to them" [Kahf 18:82] that it was gold and silver.Hasan bin Ali Khallal narrated to us, Safwan bin Salih narrated to us, Walid bin Muslim narrated to us from Yazid bin Yusuf Sanaani, from Yazid bin Yazid bin Jabir, from Makhul, with this chain of transmission, something similar.
حدثنا جعفر بن محمد بن فضيل الجزري وغير واحد قالوا حدثنا صفوان بن صالح حدثنا الوليد بن مسلم عن يزيد بن يوسف الصنعاني عن مكحول عن أم الدرداء
عن النبي ﷺ في قوله {وكان تحته كنز لهما} قال ذهب وفضة حدثنا الحسن بن علي الخلال حدثنا صفوان بن صالح حدثنا الوليد بن مسلم عن يزيد بن يوسف الصنعاني عن يزيد بن يزيد بن جابر عن مكحول بهذا الإسناد نحوه
[Its chain is daif]. Ibn Adi related it, 7/2723, from the hadith of Walid bin Muslim through this same route, and he explicitly stated that he heard it directly. Yazid bin Yusuf is daif.
