The Prophet ﷺ said, "The boy whom Khidr killed was, on the day he was created, destined to be a disbeliever."
حدثنا عمرو بن علي حدثنا أبو قتيبة سلم بن قتيبة حدثنا عبد الجبار بن العباس الهمداني عن أبي إسحق عن سعيد بن جبير عن ابن عباس
عن النبي ﷺ قال الغلام الذي قتله الخضر طبع يوم طبع كافرا
Muslim also reported it in the Book of Divine Decree, Chapter on the meaning of "every child is born upon fitrah" and the ruling on the dead children of disbelievers and the dead children of Muslims, hadith no. 2661, from the hadith of Abu Ishaq, through this same chain.
