The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the Quraysh rejected my account, I stood in the Hijr, and Allah unveiled Bayt al-Maqdis before me. I began describing its features to them while I was looking directly at it."
حدثنا قتيبة حدثنا الليث عن عقيل عن الزهري عن أبي سلمة
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال لما كذبتني قريش قمت في الحجر فجلى الله لي بيت المقدس فطفقت أخبرهم عن آياته وأنا أنظر إليه
Agreed upon [by Bukhari and Muslim].
