Umm Salamah said, "Messenger of Allah, I do not hear Allah mentioning the women in connection with the migration." So Allah the Exalted revealed, "Indeed, I will not allow the work of any worker among you to be lost, whether male or female, you are of one another" [Al Imran 3:195].
حدثنا ابن أبي عمر حدثنا سفيان عن عمرو بن دينار عن رجل من ولد أم سلمة
يا رسول الله لا أسمع الله ذكر النساء في الهجرة فأنزل الله تعالى {أني لا أضيع عمل عامل منكم من ذكر أو أنثى بعضكم من بعض}
Its isnad is hasan. Humaydi also narrated it, no. 301, from Sufyan bin Uyayna through the same chain, and he stated explicitly that he had heard it directly. Hakim graded it sahih according to the standard of Bukhari, 2/300, and Dhahabi agreed with him.A man from the descendants of Umm Salama, his name is Salama bin Abdullah bin Umar bin Abu Salama, and he is hasan al-hadith.
