The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever recites the Quran in less than three days has not understood it."
حدثنا محمود بن غيلان حدثنا النضر بن شميل حدثنا شعبة عن قتادة عن يزيد بن عبد الله بن الشخير
أن النبي ﷺ قال لم يفقه من قرأ القرآن في أقل من ثلاث
Its isnad is sahih. Ibn Majah also narrated it in "Establishing the Prayers, chapter on how many days it is recommended to complete a recitation of the Quran," no. 1347, from the hadith of Shubah, and Abu Dawud, no. 1394, from the hadith of Qatada, through the same route. Ibn Hibban graded it sahih (Ihsan): 755.
