Sourcing, its chain is daif. Abu Dawud also narrated it, no. 3986, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Dinar with the same wording, and he became confused toward the end of his life. It is also found in Nayl Maqsud, no. 2386, where the rest of the chain is hasan. The hadith has daif corroborating narrations in Hakim 2/244 and elsewhere.
