The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah has not granted permission to any servant for anything better than two units of prayer that he performs. Indeed, righteousness is showered upon the servant's head as long as he remains in his prayer, and the servants have not drawn near to Allah with anything comparable to what came forth from Him."Abu Nadr said, "He means the Quran."
حدثنا أحمد بن منيع حدثنا أبو النضر حدثنا بكر بن خنيس عن ليث بن أبي سليم عن زيد بن أرطاة
قال النبي ﷺ ما أذن الله لعبد في شيء أفضل من ركعتين يصليهما وإن البر ليذر على رأس العبد ما دام في صلاته وما تقرب العباد إلى الله بمثل ما خرج منه قال أبو النضر يعني القرآن
[Its chain of transmission is daif] Ahmad narrated it in 5/268 from Abu Nadr Hashim bin Qasim, through the same route. Layth bin Abu Salim is daif. See the hadith that follows.
