The Prophet ﷺ said, "The Quran will come on the Day of Resurrection along with its people who acted upon it in this world, with Surah al-Baqarah and Surah Aal Imran preceding it."Nawwas said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave three illustrations for these two surahs which I have not forgotten since. He said, 'They will come as if they were two clouds with a bright opening between them, or as if they were two black canopies, or as if they were two flocks of birds spreading their wings, pleading on behalf of their reciter.'"
حدثنا محمد بن إسمعيل أخبرنا هشام بن إسمعيل أبو عبد الملك العطار حدثنا محمد بن شعيب حدثنا إبراهيم بن سليمان عن الوليد بن عبد الرحمن أنه حدثهم عن جبير بن نفير
عن النبي ﷺ قال يأتي القرآن وأهله الذين يعملون به في الدنيا تقدمه سورة البقرة وآل عمران قال نواس وضرب لهما رسول الله ﷺ ثلاثة أمثال ما نسيتهن بعد قال تأتيان كأنهما غيابتان وبينهما شرق أو كأنهما غمامتان سوداوان أو كأنهما ظلة من طير صواف تجادلان عن صاحبهما
Sahih. Muslim also narrated it in the Book of the Prayer of Travellers, Chapter on the Excellence of Reciting the Quran and Surah Baqarah, no. 805, from the hadith of Walid bin Abdul-Rahman, with the same wording.On this topic there is also a narration from Burayda [Ahmad: 5/348, and Darimi, no. 3394] and from Abu Umama [Muslim, no. 804].
