Its chain of transmission is daif. Ibn Adi narrated it in Al-Kamil (3/879) from the hadith of Abu Muawiya Dareer with the same wording, and it is found in Sharh al-Sunnah by Baghawi (3/166), no. 669, via the route of Tirmidhi.
