Jabir bin Abdullah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us one day and said, "I saw in a dream that Jibreel was at my head and Mikail at my feet, and one of them said to the other, 'Strike for him a parable.'So he said, 'Listen, may your ear hear and may your heart understand. Your likeness and the likeness of your nation is like that of a king who built a residence, then constructed a house within it, then set a table inside, then sent a messenger to invite people to his meal. Some of them answered the messenger, and some ignored him. Allah is the king, the residence is Islam, the house is Paradise, and you, Muhammad, are the messenger. Whoever answers you enters Islam, whoever enters Islam enters Paradise, and whoever enters Paradise eats what is in it.'"This hadith has been narrated through other routes from the Prophet ﷺ with a chain more authentic than this one.

حدثنا قتيبة حدثنا الليث عن خالد بن يزيد عن سعيد بن أبي هلال أن

جابر بن عبد الله الأنصاري قال

خرج علينا رسول الله ﷺ يوما فقال إني رأيت في المنام كأن جبريل عند رأسي وميكائيل عند رجلي يقول أحدهما لصاحبه اضرب له مثلا فقال اسمع سمعت أذنك واعقل عقل قلبك إنما مثلك ومثل أمتك كمثل ملك اتخذ دارا ثم بنى فيها بيتا ثم جعل فيها مائدة ثم بعث رسولا يدعو الناس إلى طعامه فمنهم من أجاب الرسول ومنهم من تركه فالله هو الملك والدار الإسلام والبيت الجنة وأنت يا محمد رسول فمن أجابك دخل الإسلام ومن دخل الإسلام دخل الجنة ومن دخل الجنة أكل ما فيها وقد روي هذا الحديث من غير وجه عن النبي ﷺ بإسناد أصح من هذا
